Revival of MZ?

Since MZ have a special place in my heart I sincerely hope they pull this one off:

I can appreciate the benefits of VVT, and the stepper motor is an ingenious way to accomplish it. My Dodge Caravan has VVT, and it squeezes nearly 290 hp out of a 3.6 litre; it's really impressive compared to the previous engine choices.

That said, the new MZ is packing far more technology than I want in a motorcycle. Something about a simple carb appeals to me.

Nice looking bike though. 8)

You have a minivan with almost 300HP???? 8O

My gosh things have changed a lot!

That's more power than a Corvette between the mid 70's- late 80's!

Interesting bike and interesting motor.

Only the Third Generation Honda Interceptors had VVT. I'm not aware of any other bike with that technology, although it's rumored for the next Gold Wing.

I don't think there's Honda Interceptor sold here in Europe. But Honda VFR800 had VTEC system in for at least a decade.

That is the Interceptor in the US.

I had one and it was the favorite streetbike I ever had.

'Gave it up' when I was married for the wife.

Wrong choice.

Mine is almost 200hp. The other thing is the amount of torque they make too.
