Nice stuff WA.
I'm curious about your thoughts about the 450 KTM. Why are you selling it?

Mostly the weight of it and its tendency to overheat when things get real nasty. The 380 is replacing it because it is also street legal, weighs less and feels tons lighter, starts the first kick even when hot, way more power, and has suspension valved for woods at my weight and skill level.

What would you think about a dualsported Husky or a KTM 300 stroker for a guy like me?

I would say go for it especially if you are planning on using it mostly offroad. You definitely wont get the smoothness and fluidity you would get out of a fourstroke on the street. At least with mine its either throttle closed or its doing everything it can to try and get in to the powerband. Its pretty hard to go a consistent slow speed because opening the throttle at all will make it want to take off. Its definitely not a a deal breaker for me because i think this makes it more fun. Riding offroad where you are constantly accelerating and decelerating these bikes are perfect and tons of fun, I think you will like the lightness of them too.

I think I will focus on 4 strokes since my next bike will replace my KLX, and that bike sees frequent commuter duty. Also, I am without a sportbike currently and it would be nice to have a high performance bike I can have supermoto wheels for for canyon carving. 8)

That looks like a good foundation for a $100 bike.

That's a great find! The parts alone are worth much more than $100.

When I first moved to California my friend had a early-mid 90's KX125. We trail/desert rode there and I think it was a great little bike. Ring-a-ding-zing! Rebuild, enjoy, profit! 8)
