zongshen 250 carburetor

hi all i have a zongshen 250 air cooled model i got a new carburettor for it and i cant seem to understand why it is leeking fuel from where the air box conects as soon as i turn the fuel tap on the bike still starts and idols i just cant understand how to fix this can anyone give me any sugestions PLEASE!!

Sounds like the float may be stuck in the carburetor.

I pulled the float cover off it doesn't seem to be Jamd would anyone know wich way the fuel lines go on or would anyone have a setup instructions for it it's a mykuni 30mm carburettor

As always, Kato and WA gave you excellent advice. The float bowl valve is surely stuck. I'm moving your thread to the Pure Dirt Forum, where you will get more replies concerning your dirt bike.

Check and see if the brass peice your fuel line connects too is cracked or loose, mine was. Also if the fuel knew doesn't have a clip on it holding it tight it will leak down and you may think its float but its fuel line.
