Hello from Honduras

Hello all,

Thank you very much for this forum, I have found some great information.

I'm an American living in Honduras. I've been here for 2 years, driving my full sized dodge ram on 35" tires, isn't always the easiest way to get around, so i bought a chinese 200cc dual sport. (for that reason, and I'm having some engine work done on my truck).

I bought a Genesis XM200GY-b http://www.global-genesis.com/produc...XM200GY-B.html
I paid about $1300 assembled, and it came with an 8 month warranty and a VR-1 full face helmet. I will most likely void the warranty immediately with some mods

The roads are rough here. Potholes non stop on the main road, and the drivers worse. Half the neighborhood roads are dirt/gravel/rocks. The bike will be very useful here, and I can park anywhere in the city now

I'll try to post some pics of my actual bike, the angle from the manufacturer looks a bit strange.

Again, thanks for all the great info :!:

Welcome to the forum.

BTW the 75+ MPG and ability to burn any form of crappy gas and minimal maintence costs will be welcome too I'm sure!

Read out setup thread stickie. Locktight, new tubes, oil change, etc.

Thanks,

I had actually just printed out that setup thread. Spoke to one of my mechanics, who has the same bike. We are going to work on them this weekend.

Welcome!

You're off to a good start, especially with the opportunity to work on your bike with your mechanic. Looking forward to pics.
