turn signal wiring issues

2004 panterra 125cc
i get no lights at all to the blinkers. they dont blink or come on at all. i have a 550 dot flasher. maybe it's the wrong one i have no clue because i can't find jack on this bike lol. there was a connection under the seat with a grey and a black wire, which i assumed was for the flasher. it plugs right up. however my flasher has 3 prongs. p, l, x.
i have the signal wires connected in the front directly via spliced into the main harness orange/green, blue/green.
the rear signal wires are each plugged into connectors under the seat via same color connections in the harness orange/green, blue/green.
i have tested the lights and the bulbs do light. so what's the deal with the signals not working? any help here? do i need another relay, another fuse, more wires ughhh lol i want to be safe when i turn! cant believe they aren't required here.

Assuming the two prongs on your flasher are properly oriented with the plug, you will also need to connect the third prong to the frame to ground it. The 3-prong connectors will not work unless the third prong is connected to an electrical ground.

As long as the polarity of the connectors is correct, a two-pole flasher would work well for you. However, it's not too difficult to run a short wire from the third pole to a convenient bolt on the bike's frame.
