longer kick starter?
My sons new 110cc kick starter is hard for him to kick....not enuf a** yet.Would longer kick starter help? I was thinking of extending 3" for him.Theres plenty of room for it. :?:

When my Jetmoto enduro had its stock (Zongshen-sourced) engine, it was a pain in the neck to kick start. When the Lifan engine was installed, it had a much longer kickstarter, and would fire up right away. If you can extend it without too much trouble, I say, go for it.

when he's kickstarting it, one thing that happens is sometimes it's harder to kick depending on where the piston is in the stroke.
if it's difficult to kick, likethe whole bike just gets pushed down and you can't move the lever, i usually just reach down with my hand and push it down an inch or so, then try kicking it that usually frees up the cylinder enough so that it's easier to kick |
