The Sapero and octane
Hi everyone. Hopefully this is posted in the correct section. I have a 08 sapero and love it however it calls for 93 octane.. Not in my town lol any have this issue or use an octane booster in general? What brands, can you hear/feel a difference? Atm Ive been running 91.. Highest I can find here. Thanks, Johnny.

Lost in translation. 93RON was the mid grade gas in mainland China. US uses AKI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating
btw. the C/R is just 10:1 Honda CN250 (the ancestor) said at least 91RON (ie. 87 in US)

Thats classic, gas just got cheaper for me lol I was only going off of that metal plate under the seat it just says unleaded 93 or higher. I didnt even consider a different rating system. Thank you. Dont suppose you know how to set the clock? Thanks, Johnny

That's a CFMoto V3, right? I have two V5s, same motor/drivetrain. My factory repair manual says 90 octane or higher. I just fuel up with anything over 90 and I have very few issues. Occasionally I'll get some crappy gas and I can feel the difference, but otherwise it's pretty consistent. Just today I stopped at a station that sells 91 ethanol-free. I'll be anxious to see how it affects my performance and mileage.
