2017 Venom x22-S

i finally gave in and ordered the 125cc yesterday 2/28/2018.
has anyone come up with a list of popular mods yet?
venom told me these are cloned after ninja 250.
example of popular mods on other bikes: carb, exhaust, chain, sprockets.
i know to replace fuel lines from prior china bikes. i wish there were peeps on this like the 250 hawk. please send me in the right direction if i am in wrong place

You will have to research the Venom X22 from several months ago (the X22 without any letter after 'X22'https://www.venommotorsportsusa.com/collections/super-pocket-bikes/products/x22-super-pocket-bike-125cc?variant=30465839181 ). I recall a couple people bought them and prepped them. No member has compared them to the Vader as far as prepping them, but the engines are nearly identical as Boom, the manufacturer of the Vader is also the mfg. of the Ninja full-size replica and is able to certify these under the same EPA certificate meaning all engine necessities/prep should be the same.

I want to replace the carb on my Apollo 125 Pit bike. What jets fit that carb you linked on Amazon? That is a 26mm carb, I'm wondering if I should go with a Mikuni VM22 for my 125cc pit bike.

the link is a vm22 mikuni, that is also known as a 22mm carb, but 26mm at connector to intake pipe.it tapers from 22mm venturi(inside carb measurement) to 26mm at opening to intake pipe. i plan on using a 115 bc i used my 120 jet on a different bike already from my kit. i would use a 100 if i were leaving the stock exhaust on it. 115 should be good for exhaust upgrade bc the exhaust flow would be faster.

And for the life of me in the pics of that carb I can't see the idle adjustment screw. I see the idle air adjustment screw on the bottom but not the idle speed adjustment

The idle screw on the vm22 is on the side of the carb opposite the choke side. if you look at the pic you can see it on the left side just above the float bowl. The air/fuel mixture screw is a pain in the butt to get to unless your carb hangs way out from the engine. Tbolt sells this extended air/fuel mixture screw that allows you to adjust the air/fuel without removing the carb. I haven't used it but it might be worth considering.

THanks guys, I saw that screw ya'll are pointing out, but I thought that it was a plug. Ok Cool I'm ordering the kit right now. My Apollo bogs really bad under hard throttle. SO I'm gonna throw this on it. I'm going to order a jet assortment too. I wonder what jet comes in the Mikuni.
