Is this gushing going on in my radiator normal? Or an indicator of blown head gasket?

I have 163ML class engine. Just finished its top end work. Replaced cylinder, piston, head gasket, valve guides, valves, valve seals, lapped new valves.

Now I m checking at the radiator cap and see these gushing of water. . The first time I poured water there were shot of bubbles and after slightly reving it the water level decreased, then again filled and again some bubbles and water level dropped slightly. Then filled and water level stays consistent but not sure if the head gasket is OK as this time the gasket is three pieces metal sheet and i always have issues with it. the length of hose pipes is significant so seems the reduction in water volume was due to that and some water goes to pump.

Looking at the videos of shot does it indicate some leak in head gasket or all looks normal?





I did a brisk ride of 15km and coolant Temps were 75-80°C. And no reduction in coolant volume. Though I kept my speed below 50kmph.

The pump is trying to move the coolant through the system and radiator. With the radiator cap off, it takes the path of least resistance which is out of the radiator fill.



If you're getting combustion pressurizing the cooling system, you won't know until the system is up to temp. Then there would be a severe loss of coolant more than the normal amount pushed out because of heat expansion.

It seems that the Water level was decreased initially because the water system needed to prime itself once all water galleries and channels were full no bubbles or water reduction was observed.

The third video shows water level after 15kms ride. Water level is same.

Does anything looks out of normal in above clips?
