Help! Clutch Adjustment

I have adjusted my TT250 clutch according to the service manual.The friction point or clutch engagement begins when the clutch lever is releasedabout half way of its travel. I would like to have it begin to engage sooner. Say around 25% of travel. Is there a way to do this?
