Just Assembled BD125-10 But No Electric

Hi,

New here and in a bit of a bind here, I just finished assembling my new BD125-10, and tried to start and it was a no go, no dash lights no turn over no nothing.

I looked under seat and found this adapter with nothing attached to it, does anyone know where the other end of this is?

I do not know that bike or connector but I would check out the ground first.
It could go to a 9 pin cdi. I've never seen one but I know there out there.

You should have another connector that plus into it. That looks like the main harness connector for the CDI. Take a picture of the wires so we can see what colors they are to narrow it down what it is for.

Cruising the forum and found this problem and decided to see if I had the same problem...Yup.. and the ground connection from the negative battery terminal was not connected.

JerryHawk mentioned it's probable use and my middle photographs show that along with the ground connection (green wire) on mine was also disconnected.
Other than getting rid of that nasty initial start gas.. and running a non heavy handed but; none the less happily running up and down the rpm range and looking to enjoying this with out the engine restrictions.

Sorry didn't mean to advoid your question.. My understanding is that if your wanting to do ecu or what ever the name is for electric fuel injection.. Progress right? Like Honda's right..Count you blessings!.. Reading the Honda Grom forum and their main maintenance gripes. The electronic fuel system.. I like quirks and all that is this "ancient" fuel system.
