Hello from IL - New Hawk 250 DLX owner

I just purchased a 2019 Hawk 250 DLX. This forum was recomended by MotoCheez for whom I have been following on YouTube for a while and have found him to be a very good source of information.
At 60 years old I am still a child at heart riding motorcyles for 47 years. Started with mini bikes to 1800cc S&S Harley customs. I have really owned and resored more motorcycles than I would like to count. When I look back some of the most fun was the on-off road bikes riden through the years with family and freinds.
I have 3 boy's and 1 daughter. My boys also plan to share in some of our future rides and I see a couple more of these in my future. Looking forward to quality time with my boys and nephews doing trail adventure rides.
The Wife is not as happy since the boy's and my nephew tore up the yard a bit
testing the bike! I feel it lacks a bit of low end torque but it is not broken in yet.

Hope to get to know you guy's/gal's and maybee ride together someday!

Jim

Welcome Aboard Jim! You have been riding almost as long as I have. Age is just a number. Keep on riding, there's no age limit on motorcycle riders. I have a good friend the turns 90 in December. He still rides every chance he gets.

Get a few hundred miles on it and she will break in and loosen up.
