50cc moped

Hi I got a new 50cc engine from amazon and the magneto coil has got a 3 pin connector but it is missing the green wire my plug on my wire harness has the green wire followed by the white and yellow wires my new magneto on my new engine just has white and yellow will my new magneto still work on my moped without the green wire

Traditionally the green wire is a ground. Likely it'll work without it.

Can you post up a few pics of the engine you bought on Amazon, if you don't mind?
