HOPE ALL READING THIS ARE WELL, dose anyone have any experience with this brand ,? Who biulds it any good . Looking at a Denali 250 . Thanks

TMEC are an actual manufacturer and we get a few of their scooters and their dual-sport. The 200cc engine is manufactured by Zongshen and is bulletproof. The bikes were top of the line in '09, but other brands have eclipsed them over the years as far as quality goes (mainly welds). I had 2; one I bought used, and commuted pretty much exclusively for a couple years putting on 6000 miles. I got to know the then-current distributor, Excalibur Motorsports. He imported them with either 21/18 wheels and knobby tires, or 17/17 wheels and sportlike tires, which was the version I had. I got a great deal on a new one, so bought it with the 17/17 wheels. I rode it pretty much exclusively as my commuter year-round like the other one, but about 4 months into it, a woman ran me off the road and up and over a curb. I still rode it to work for almost two more years after banging things back into place putting on over 6000 miles. The engine never seemed to miss a beat! I did have to replace the CDI right before my accident, but no other electric bugs to note. I know the current distributor is now Sunright.net and the bike only comes with 21/18 wheels, but seems to be available with more dual-sport tires unlike the fairly aggressive knobbies they used to come with. I would recommend to look at the current crop of bikes first, unless you can get a heck of a deal on the TMEC. I think the fit and finish of the newer offerings is a big consideration, but there is nothing wrong with the TMEC per se...just a little outdated in the quality control dept. on everything but the solid engine. You won't miss the 23 or 29cc's extra as offered in the newer "250's" bikes.

Ain't that the truth. I can't tell a difference between my 163fml's and 167fmm's. Seem the same to me...
