2020 Brozz 250 evap system

Just went for my first ride. No brake light. I will check the wiring hopefully its unplugged somewhere. The crankcase breather tube behind the starter connects to the air box with a T . The bottom of the T has a clear plastic tube with a plug and spring clamp on the bottom. It filled with oil a little on start up. I did change the shipping oil with rotella 15-40 may have slightly over filled it. But it's not past the high line on the window. A little past the center of the window.

Light was obviously a plug. Clear plastic tube filled with oil again. I realize airbox is sucking from crankcase. Do people eliminate this line? Vent to atmosphere or run a breather filter. Or just leave it?

I've actually been looking at the air box stuff. I've got some filters coming to get it all changed out. I'll probably keep the long tube from the crankcase and attach it to the small air filter that's coming.

Did you have any oil filling up that clear Hose with the plug on the bottom. AlsoThat k&n filter you list is the flat panel filter? Thanks.

That clear tube sounds like it is doing exactly the job it was designed to do. It's acting as an oil catch so your air box doesn't fill up with oil. 3/4 up the window isn't overly full, and in most bikes that is considered the top of the fill range, but it could be a contributing factor. Many guys here won't fill beyond halfway up the window for that reason.
If the bike is still new and only has a couple hundred miles it will have a little higher than normal crankcase pressure and blowby which can attribute a little to increased oil mist being blow through the breather tube as well. Something many others do is to install a check valve/PCV valve in the breather line. Which can help with the issue a little as well.

Thanks Dan. Yea less than 100 miles. Like 16 miles. I just thought it was a lot of oil in the catch can( tube). But what you said makes sense. I haven't owned a bike since the 90s and then it was a 77 Yamaha dt enduro 250. So I apologize ahead of time for ridiculous questions.
