Chain Tention

Having issues with the chain coming off. I've been tighten by putting an old Philips in the hole and using leverage, busted my knuckles. There got to be a easier way right?

How about a big long tapered drift punch, so it seats itself in the hole?

For some reason wasn't as hard this time around. Replaced the studs and nuts with grade 8, see what happens.

You can grease/clean the surfaces that rotate when tensioning the chain, that'll help.

The change in bolts seems to be holding, no dropped chain on yesterday ride.

On a Rhino 250, how do you loosen or tighten the front two nuts on the adjustment. I do not have a tool that I can get on them, no room. I just ordered a crows foot open ended wrench set. Hope this works. What do you guys use? My new chain now needs tightening.

IIRC for the Rhino style tension screws. I had to remove a couple of the bolts that hold the rear end to the frame. Then i was able to get a wrench to fit, its been a while since i done it.

Good to know what to use. I've got a set but I've never used them. Whenever I go to HF, I have this habit of picking up tools I don't have, just in case I might need them down the road. That is if they're cheap enough.
