Just received my new hawk250... noticed something with the front wheel..

Hello all, I'm new here, new to the enduro side of riding. I've watched MANY videos, read TONS of reviews and finally pulled the trigger on the new hawk 250 carbureted. Assembly was pretty straight forward even though I didnt have instructions. Only missed 2 things (the rubbed inserts for headlight tabs to sit in on the forks and the large thin washer for brake lever) but figured out where they go. I got everything together, put gas in and fired it up... beside it idling weird... it goes good. I adjusted the chain before I ran it, ran it for half hr or so and changed hed the oil... but I noticed when I was looking at it straight on from the front, the tire is crooked... as in its leaning towards the left fork more than the right. I jacked it up and spun the front tire and it seems pretty straight so I dont believe it's the rim. It's almost as if one fork is lower then the other but they are both "flush" on the top of the fork where they mount to the bars. How would one adjust that?

Try to take a measurement from the top of the fork tube to the axle on both sides to see if they are different. Could be a stiff fork seal.
-Look at the top triple clamp to see if the top of both fork tubes are installed at the same height in the clamps.
-I couldn't see your image. I have had bad luck trying to attach images myself.

Ok I will get a measurement when I'm back home. Wont be till Friday some time. That's what I meant by "flush on the top where they connect to the bars" was the triple clamp. Not sure the actual name for all these parts yet. I was t sure if anyone else had a similar problem. I will get back Friday with measurements. Thanks

Wouldn't the axle force it to be straight? Unless it was bent or there's something funny with the bearings, but then the disc wouldn't fit straight in the caliper, would it?

As a side note, check to see it the tire is seated on the rim correctly. Mine wasn't and it wasn't round. I tried reseating it a few times with soapy water but the tire just wasn't made correctly.

Try loosening the bottom triple clamps, putting the front wheel between your legs, then wiggling the handlebars back and forth. Also, sit on the bike, hold the front brake, and push down to forcefully compress the forks a few times. Then check and tighten.

Ok so I measured it and both sides from bottom side of top clamp to center of axle was like 30.5 inches if I remember correctly. Both sides seem spot on.. and I took it for a ride and I think it's pretty pronounced when riding. Seems it's raining/snowing... I plan on removing the front wheels and checking front alignment that i saw on good old YouTube.
