Anyone have one of these?
I am in the market for a scooter for my wife.I think she is feeling a little left out since I got the bird.We want a 150cc .She is only 5'1 so the seat hight can be no higher then 28 inches.I have done some searching and found this roketa.Any suggestions?

Have you checked with the forum www.scootdawg.com ? (I hope that's the exact name...) I think they are based near you in KC, too. Member ACD here is a moderator for them, too.
I like the styling of this model, btw, and now that Roketa seems to be getting its act together (i.e. parts and such) it might be worth looking into it. Just check with scootdawgs, too.

I second culcune recommendation. Check over a scootdawg as alot more info on the scooters is available there.
I was looking at the kymco scooters. Good chance that I may get one for next season. Allen

Not sure about the scoot you posted.. but many of the "retro" scoots seem to have high seats.
This Roketa has a pretty low seat.. and its a bit bigger.. has a windshield too. http://www.roketa.com/product/produc...D=0&proID=2621 ![]() ATV Discounters is selling the 150cc version (different name) for $1144 http://www.atvdiscounter.com/Scooter...oductInfo.aspx and a 250cc version for $1588 http://www.atvdiscounter.com/Scooter...oductInfo.aspx I also would highly suggest checking out Scootdawg. http://scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi Ken |

Those look pretty nice kens97sto171,but they dont list the seat height.I found that scootdog.com dosn't respond near as fast as this one does.Loads of info thow I have been reading for hours. Came up with this scooter.
http://www.twowheelsrule.com/product...47bb89c65f72b8 The reviews are very good on these.about 150 more then what I wanted to pay but I guess my wifes worth it. Thanks again for turning me on to that site. Kat,The kymco is a very nice scooter.read some good stuff about those.

The Roketa I linked to.. has a pretty low seat.. definatly under 29 inch. There is a guy on Scoot Dawg.. Gary is his user name.. he has one of these that is a Viva 250.. same scoot.. you could ask him the height. I really want a MC 250B I like that body style much better, but for the $1499 at ATV D's.. I may not be able to resist it... Good luck... just do lots of reading and thinking before buying. If you are fairly close to the Cincinnati Ohio area... There is a local dealer near Milan Indiana.. who sells REALLY cheap. You can get this scoot with the box, alarm, remote start with two remotes.. for $799 new in a crate, with the MSO IN YOUR HAND... he will even give you an Indiana temp tag. I bought a Roketa Dual Sport motorcycle from him a couple years ago. This is details from Roketa's site...not his... I will list that below. http://www.roketa.com/product/2610/0/2612.shtml ![]() Here is the URL to the guy in Milan.. Cheap ATV's is the name... They are not great about answering the phone.. They are very busy, and it is a family run place. ..so they all have 3 tasks to do at once. http://www.fraleymotors.com/dirtbikesandscooters.html Hope that helps. Ken |

The only downer to the kymco products is the price.
I may have to get a 150 and put a big bore kit on it. Allen

Wow kens97sto171,Those are crazy low prices that frayle motors has.
That roketa is a nice looking bike something I may be interested in maybe next year for myself. I found a Lance Vintage for 1329.00 and purchased it.From what I have read on them the prices are going thru the roof.A year ago they were 1099.00 now they run any where from 1329.00 (wich is in silver only) to 1599.00. Kat,From what I have been reading and you probably already know is there is a slew of upgrade parts for the 150cc engines. So it won't take me long to jump in and start modifying her scoot I'm sure. ![]()
