Got my Recon tagged today!

Pretty easy, zero problems in Florida. It's ready to terrorize the streets and more, not really. Any central Florida riders hit me up! I know my way around a dirtbike(although it's been years).

Already swapped handlebars. Next to jet it a bit, but mostly just ride it around slow as it is!

From what I've read on this forum you may be right! I did watch a few vids on the subject and received my amazon order with the valve adjusting tool/feeler gauge today. Is the spark plug a must replace? It's easy and cheap enough. TIA

I'd replace it.. you'll want to remove to do the valves, and 'technically' your supposed to replace the gasket when you remove/reinstall plug... that said I've been reusing gaskets for decades without issue. If the spark plug is a knock-off, I'd recommend keeping a replacement and tools on the bike just in case.

Definitely get them valves done, it's a fairly easy job...take your time and double check work.

Congrats!, I’d replace the plug when you get a chance. I’ve ran on the Torch brand plug before with no issues. I actually am right now. I do have a NGK in the tool box for it though. I usually keep the torch as a backup on the bike.
I definitely second doing the valves and then change the oil after a 20-30 miles.
