Oil Leak
Hi Everyone,
Need some assistance on identifying an issue I am having with my 250 pro. Couple of weeks ago I noticed some very small spots of oil under my bike (Like 1 or 2 drips in a 24 hour period) As time passed it got a little worse but not horrible. I tried to figure where it was coming from and here is what I found. The oil is leaking just behind the shifter on the left side. As I was looking I noticed a small hole in the transfer case and as I looked into it I noticed a phillips head screw. I tighened it and volia oil leak gone. After riding it a couple of times i noticed the leak again and again tightened the screw. My question is what does this screw do and can I take it out to put lock tite on it with out doing any damage. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have an awesome week. |

Actually... I don't know how to post a pic on the forum. I post all of my pictures in my Gallery. You can just add a pic there real easy, at least it's the easiest for me. Go to the gallery at the top of the page and just make yourself a personal gallery... they are simple. I repair bikes/scooters/atvs and sell them, just haven't learned or taken the time to learn how to post a pic in the forum. I Hope this helps... there are others that can answer this question better than me!
