New guy from upstate NY
Hello all,
I am taking delivery of my crated Hawk 250 in the next day or so. I already plan to strip it down and lube and loctite the usuals along with a few "normal" mods. I have been riding for 50 years and have been intrigued by the Hawk for a couple years. Former bikes owned include a '74 Yamaha SR500 I built into a bar hopper, a "75 Honda XL250 I built into a Street Tracker and most recently a '01 Harley Davidson Sportster I built into a low bobber. I am getting too old to be killing my kidneys and have always enjoyed dirt bikes and fire roads. Looking forward to the ride and perusing the forum Best, Look |

Welcome! I've had my Hawk since March, and have nearly 400 miles on it. It's by far the best 2k I've ever spent. Taking it to Florida tomorrow to try to get my dad to give it a spin. Then, hopefully, hit up Croom riding area in Withlacoochee State Park. I've had a few kinks with the bike, but overall has been a great experience.
