Are you referring to the Lifan KPX 250 dual sport from Venom Motorsports?

If so, there are definitely many owners posting here

Lots of experience to draw from!

Reply to upgrades

Thumper thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'm new to this and Forums in general. Yes it's on it's way from Anaheim CA Lifan KXP250 Venom. As you can imagine I'm stoked about it's arrival next wk even at 65 yrs old.

Where can I find the threads you spoke of

Thumbs Up Lifan motorcycles

You are already posting in the same section:
Dual Sport/Enduro

In that forum, look at the first thread. Jerry made a sticky for that interest group called
JerryHawk250's Lifan KPX250
This is not the only thread on the bike, but it's a good starting place. You can find info there, and Jerry and others that own it can answer your questions.

The KPX 250 is made by Lifan.

Venom motorsports is one of the vendors that sells Lifan motorcycles in America. MANY Chinese motorcycle and motorsports manufacturers allow BRANDING, so Venom places their name on Lifan products. But FYI, it is a Lifan product! Venom is placing there reputation and providing support for the bike, and people here will confirm this is a good thing!

You can also find other models like the KPM 200 and Lifan Expect elsewhere.

Lifan is generally a higher than average quality Chinese motorcycle brand, though they have many similar component and build issues. Rear axel alignment/swingarm (wheel offset) and EFI issues have cropped up, but Venom will help resolve anything that you have during waranty. There is usually a "teething period" on all of these crate bikes, but Lifan is better than average

I'm in the Nampa area and have had my KPX 250 for 6 months and almost 3400 miles now. I ordered mine from Venom out of Anaheim and it arrived without any damage. Its been a great bike so far and I'm now setup and waiting to get it out to do some moto camping.
