Emergency Kit - CDI\Coil

I'm putting together an emergency kit to pack when I take long trips.
Think I have most essentials covered: Emergency beer, clean underwear and a grenade launcher
I was wondering if the CDI\Coil kits for 250cc they sell on Amazon are compatible with all 250cc dirt bikes.
If not, what should I look for?
Thought it might be a good Idea to carry a spare.
I'm riding a KPX 250
Thanks.

Can't say for the KPX250.

The budget ebay 250cc dirt bike coil,CDI and plug kits are mostly fine for the CG250 engine bikes.

The main issue is the CDI type with plug and pin differences.
I don't know what kind of CDI the KPX 250 uses or even if it has a CDI considering it is EFI/ECU

The KPX doesn't use a cdi. It uses a ECU to control spark and fuel for the fuel injector. You could get a spare coil but really don't think it's necessary. Coils usually last a very long time. Just get on it and enjoy the ride.

Main things you need to bring with you if you are making a long trip like over 1500 miles is oil, oil filter, chain lube, spare master link and a complete set of tools that fit every nut, bolt and screw on your bike.

It can't hurt to carry a spare coil if you think you need it. They don't take up much space or weigh much. A spare spark plug is more handy.

I agree more with a good tool kit. Including tire spoons/irons with a rim saver, zip ties, and patch/plug kit for trips.
