Brought home some more Jap Junk. 89 ex250
Picked up another one to sacrifice to ebay in parts.
http://picasaweb.google.com/katorang...OHS54_0j_nUOg# It actually runs, but in pretty rough shape. Little truck is getting a workout.

Any chance it has the tool kit? I could really use the spark plug socket but I'd be happy to have the complete kit.
I also need one of the little chrome caps for the swingarm pivot bolt.

Speed. I will check for those parts. I was thinking you may need something from it.
It has a new battery in it too. Need an extra set of wheels? Allen

The chrome caps are there, but I can't find a tool kit. Is it hidden someplace?
Anyway pm me your address and I will send the caps down. Allen

Why do people do things like that to innocent motorcycles? :? . It ani't right. Like mine. Almost new out of the showroom, dumped and sold on CL. Like you guys, I take good care of my stuff. It's the way I was raised. From my pickup top my cars to my lawnmower. It's all in good shape.
Anyway, if that bike is mechanically sound, I'd get a new fairing and learn how to paint. Should turn out OK. A cool commuter/rat bike at the very least.

Parts for your bike are super available. It'd been produced almost unchanged for 20 years. Mine's only been out a year and a half.

Problem is the branded title. I can't register it. I can make some quick selling the parts though. This is about the 30th bike I have parted out.

Salvage/rebuilt/parts only title.
More hassle than the bike is worth to get it registered. This bike is rougher than it looks in the pictures. Allen

$150. I only paid that because it runs. Otherwise I would have only offered about $75-100. He wanted $300, but I had my girls with me and they wanted to go to the park. I made my offer and turned for the truck. Took him about 10 seconds to come down.

Does it have any potential as a track bike? I would think it's worth a few hundred to have a dedicated bike for track days, and maybe even racing, for those who are interested (not really my thing, but I know a few people). I've kicked around the idea for my 05, but it's in too good of shape for that.
