2007 hi bird 200gy valve lash question

Hi, Im new to this forum and and proud new owner of a used bird. I tried to locate the correct valve lash settings but so far nothing difinative. Can any one help me out? Its a pushrod motor. I checked it today and found 0 valve lash. I went ahead and set the intake to .0025 and the exhaust to a tight .003 . I started it up and got a slight valve noise at idle, so offhand it seems happy to me. If anyone knows the factory specs, I'd greatly appreciate it.

That sounds close. The pushrod engine usually makes some noise.

Valve lash on most of the OHV engines increases as the engine heats up, so if the valves seal enough to get it started it's good enough.

There's plenty here, and lots of people who are willing to help.

Please take a moment to post in the Introduce Yourself section.
