SYM scooters Made in Taiwan

This scooter really has me thinking. They have great reviews. Liquid cooled, 4 valve, fuel injected. 60watt headlight. Fast enough for my commute. I also like the larger wheels.

For me scooters have always been too pricy on a $/cc basis. For the same money one could buy a Q or a Zong 200, and have a much more capable vehicle.

JMHO.

That is true. I have seen some nice bikes, but I only plan to ride it on the street at less than 50mph. I ride 44 miles roundtrip to work. Speed varies from 30-45mph zones. I max out at 50 in the 45 zones.

A scooter actually fits what I need. Easy commuter vehicle with low maintenance/operating costs. The CVT makes it easy to ride in traffic. I don't have to work that clutch all the time. Also the fairing/windshield on alot of them will help for the cold mornings.

I still may try to make the CL90 I have into a commuter. That may be a more practical in between ride. Upgrade the lighting and tires. It would be a mutt.

Sounds like it would suit your mission well. Looks like a good unti. I wonder if its a Kymenco (?sp).

Plus its in your state, so you could actually look before you leap.

Will its not a Kymco. They are different. It is in my state but about 5 hours away. Won't happen with that one anyway. Funding for a cash purchase is not there. I am looking, but my thoughts came back to the little Honda CL again. I believe I could make it into something that would work for me.

I really don't want to spend any money so I think I need to concentrate on it instead.

Already has a china 110 4sp auto in it.

I sure is. I can cut and paste how I like it.

Plus it too cold to ride right now. We are having a cold streak in GA. Global warming ya know.
