Good Deal on H4 Headlamp Bulbs

You can get two H4 headlamp bulbs on eBay for $6.00, delivered.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-90...item53df7bdbef

P.S. I edited this post to remove the misleading word, "xenon."

Thank you for the fine web link, Ken. You can also get standard, H4 halogen bulbs for $2.25 per bulb at Light Bulb Emporium.

http://www.lightbulbemporium.com/eiko_40136ek_01009.asp

If you buy a case of 12 bulbs, the price goes down to $2.11 per bulb.

Spud, beaware, this is not true HID Xenon, only imitation. in true HID kit you get bulb, ballast (for transfering 12v to 24kv), relay, fuse.

H.I.D. headlight

yes beware , I got one these supposed kits for my harley before I knew that true H.I.D. required mounting a ballast. Believe me it sucks the light is whiter in color but thats it, it doesn't seem to put out as much over all as the stocker.

Thank you for reminding me to mention this important fact, gentlemen! I was aware that these H4 bulbs are not HID bulbs, but I forgot to warn others who might be fooled. Therefore, I am going to edit my original post, and the name of this thread, to omit the misleading word, “xenon.”

Although these bulbs are not true “xenon” bulbs, six dollars is still a good, delivered price for two H4, halogen light bulbs.

The auction listing states these bulbs use "OEM standard wattage current." Therefore, I assume these are 60W/55W bulbs. However, I sent the seller an email asking him to verify the wattage; I will report back after he replies to my email.

I got a response from the eBay seller. The H4 headlamp bulbs he sells are not the standard wattage; they are 100/55W! :( Therefore, I recommend my fellow China Riders get the standard wattage, H4 bulbs from another source.
