You're closer to it than Spud with a worse winter....
I though Spud because it's just like his first bike when he was just a potato eye starter plant.

Just checked eBay.
Headlight bucket and side panels readily available for $80 together. Cables about another 30. Carb rebuild kits another 50. Seat cover about 40. Tires about 150. Maybe get the bike for 200. Parts another 350. I have the paint leftover from my GS750 restoration, labor would be 100 to paint it. Add another 200 for battery and unknown inevitable issues we're looking at about 850. I'll pass. Oh well.
