New UK ChinaRider with some questions please

Hi,
Just picked up a rather nice s/h 2006 water cooled Regal Rapter 250 (badged AJS here in the UK) with only 7000 miles on the clock. Nice bike, hope it stays that way !!
Looks like this http://www.regal-raptor.com/eng/products_imgs.asp?id=82
Wanted to try and find a manual for it but as expected nothing exists so I'll have to get hold of the one for the Honda 250 Rebel as I think that will help me with most basic info. Am I correct in assuming this is the book to get ?
Want to know things like how to adjust the cam chain.
Pictures later when I get the camera out.
If anyone can point me to any info, preferably technical, on the web I would be very appreciative.
Thanks
SW

stevew,
Google Regal Raptor 250 and you will get lots of hits.
Do you have the air cooled or water cooled 250? The air cooled 250 does appear to be a copy of the Honda.

Thanks Barnone,

Done my fair share of Googling and have seen most but there is still a lot of info missing !! That's why I'm hoping that someone who knows more than me will be able to point me to a place where I can see the inside of the engine, for example. The Chinese seem very shy of putting out too much info.
Mine is a twin w/c engine of 234cc.
Got to be the same a the Rebel, hasn't it ????

SW

This has basically all you need.

http://www.johnnypag.com/motorcycles...vicemanual.pdf

Those Lifeng bikes all have an engine that is based of the Honda 233cc parallel twin.
You could get a Haynes and Clymer for the 250 rebel/nighthawk and it would be good for reference.

This is the sales network…http://www.regal-raptor.com/eng/sales.asp
So obvious inside of that are people that can support that bike, get parts and provide specifications if not actually do the work.
