Cush drive bushings

The bushings on the Dirt Rat are worn out. Bike Bandit wants about $55 for the set! 8O

I bet Chinabushings would work.

Does anyone know for sure, or know where I can buy a few?

Have you tried anywhere else? I'd be buying Honda stuff if possible, since most China bushings are junk.

Try putting the part number into Google. I'll bet that Ron Ayer's comes up cheaper.

I agree with W&G on both counts; get Honda bushings, and buy them online. I forget; do you have a 1983 XR200? I get all my Yamaha parts from CyclePartsWarehouse; they consistently have the lowest prices. Fortunately for both of us, this vendor also sells Honda parts. CyclePartsWarehouse sells the 1983 XR200 bushings for $8.69 apiece.

Wow; I have a pretty good memory! I gave you the correct link to the Honda parts microfiche in the post above. I'd be interested to know if anyone beats the CyclePartsWarehouse price of $8.69 per bushing.

I will order up 5! My Haynes Manual says that the old bushings are hard to remove... I think that's with reusing them in mind though. I don't mind trashing them in the process of removing them if I have new ones on hand.

I HATE waiting for parts!

Guys, the bushings for Doc's bike might be a different part number, because the XR200 uses a different number of bushings than the XR200R. As a result, they might be a different size.

We're running a hybrid. The stock 200R rear hub was broken, so we're using a 200 rear wheel instead. Other than the sprocket bolt pattern (due to the number of cush drive bushings), it's identical.

I will double check, thanks for the tip. The 'R' uses 5 or 6 bushings, I don't remember.
