I bought a XPro Storm 150 DLX and the steering is so loose it's very hard to control at low speeds. Has anyone encountered this with the Storm 150 DLX or any other XPro model? My main question is how to tighten the steering stem? I loosened the triple clamps and center clamp then tried tightening the center spanner nut with a punch and hammer, got about an 1/8 of a turn but it still feels loose. I guess I should take the handle bars off and get in there and find out how this is set up, maybe I can get a socket on the nut or wondering if there is another nut under the silver cap located under the center clamp and spanner nut? Long question,sorry... Any advice or should I just take it apart?

Does anyone know if there are smaller back wheels available and front too for the TemplarX. I was thinking of using a 16 or 17" rear and a 19" front just to see what it does... i'm crazy for sure but have short legs. I adapted a CRF250 lowering link to fit and it drops the bike way too low, too much suspension travel loss. i also drilled the shock like Thumper said and between the 2 got it down to 30 inches... I'm retired and just tinkering around with this thing...It's a lot of fun.

Hi everyone! I'm trying to find out if there are aftermarket "drop-in and bolt on" lowering links available for sale for the TemplarX 250. I was looking at the various aftermarket makers and could not find any. Thumper shared his method and that is what I am going to do here soon as I'm about to tag this bike for the road [hopefully/WV is my state]... Any advice or suggestions would be deeply appreciated and thanks again to Thumper for answering my question so fast a week ago...Gotta get this thing lowered.
