Just pulled the trigger on a blue 2024 Templar X. Powersportsmax just dropped the price to $1,899.95 with 299.95 shipping. Now the wait for a shipping confirmation then delivery begins..

![]() I work out in this heat all day maintaining a 40 pool service route, so I damn sure ain't gonna come home to work on the bike in a hot garage. And, there will be plenty of frosty adult beverages available during assembly. ![]()

Glad you posted, I've only had my X for a few months and was wondering which fuel petcock setting worked the left and right side tank. Took mine on a long road trip couple weeks ago and ran out of gas in heavy traffic at about 75 miles. Kind of panicked at first figuring I should have been fine on fuel but reached down and turned the petcock over and it fired back up. I wrote it off as I was on paved road for so long and wasn't sloshing any fuel around in the tank.

Well, my Templar arrived last night, without a single bit of shipping damage. The only part I found missing was the rubber plug that covers the end of the swingarm mounting hardware on the right side of the frame. In the process of going thru the bike checking/Loctiting fasteners, checking wire routing, and spraying Fluid Film in all the non weatherpack connectors. Hope to be able to fire it up this weekend and give it the first oil change.
![]() They're now shipping the left rear side panel loose to prevent the damage seen on some bikes from the front wheel brake rotor hitting it during transit. ![]() ![]() I got it loose from the shipping crate, reinstalled the front axle into the forks and horsed the beast into the house and parked it on my lift to do the final checkout and assembly. No way I'm gonna deal with that in a 100+ degree garage, when I can sit in air conditioned comfort in the house. ![]() ![]()

If you plan on any road use, expect a lot of wheel vibration over about 40 unless you wheel balance. I got mine dialed in pretty good now but it took a lot of weight opposite that single rim lock.

No way it will balance easily for road unless you pull out the rimlocks. You can get rubber plugs to plug the holes in the rim. I think mine were from Honda. Without rimlocks its trivial to balance the wheels with not too many weights.

I may end up buying a second set of wheels from PSM and mount up the original knobbies for the occasional times I use the bike for off road riding. Far easier to swap a set of wheels than having to break down a well balanced set of road tires. ![]()
