T12 and T13 Sprockets Installation on a Zong

On the web sight I purchased the sprockets from it said:

Note: 12t and 13t sprockets require a circlip to hold part on shaft

Anyone that has used the 12T or 13T on the Zong, did you use the clip that came with the sprocket?

I popped on the clip that came with the sprocket and its on good, very hard to pry off so I wanted to check to see what others used. Not sure if this could of been a Yamaha problem. Anyway I wanted some advice because I couldn't find my set of circ pliers and the factory clip seems to be secure. Thanks, Alan

I have worn out many, PBI, 13T, countershaft sprockets on my Zong. If the PBI circlip is attached properly, it is very secure.
