Those look nice, I've eye'd them up a bit. A little more pricey but they look much more refined then the 200gy's.

all the welding looks perfect, all screws/nuts were very tight from the beginning (and I mean every one of them)
the plastics look and feel like a japanese machine (but this time will tell if it is true) and the ride height is very high, too high actually, so tall people will like it, I will measure it today, and I believe the seat-height is around 90-93 cm

ok, now I have taken my first ride on it!
It went fine! It went right up to 60km/h with no hesitation, smooth ride. I probably has to release the chain a little and add some oil in the front suspension. i was never over 60km/h and it were around 4500 rpm. no big vibrations. overall it was a very nice ride! well, i'll report more later edit: ridden it a little more, 70km/h was around 5500rpm

well, time for a status update
i have now ridden almost 2000km and not a single prpblem, all bolts/screws are still tight and the engine sounds great. some rust on the handle because some paint fell was rubbed off when I put it on. but I will probably buy a renthal handlebar or something similar otherwise it always starts no matter what weather. top speed is 115km/h but the engine doesn'tr like it (geared 15/48 ) as soon as catastrophix and me figures out exactly what sprockets that fit I will change to 16/45 or 16/42 not for the speed but to get rpm down from aroound 7000@100km/h I will probably do some modding in the future (like cutting up the airbox) but not sure if it will enhance anything

Verucci is another company that has a premium GY bike, and Diamo is another. I think that they do go over the bikes and utilize superior hardware...but they charge a premium as compared to the cost of the more common GY's we have available in the US. The bikes, however, look pretty much the same as a more common GY, such as a Jetmoto or Roketa which can be had for close to half of what the premium dealers charge.

well, time for an update.
What has happened, well not a lot, nothing has broken, become loose or anything. It just runs! ![]() But of course I can't keep my hands off it, so I started to rip all the ugly stickers! And painted it all black! I also bought a pair of yellow polisport handguards. And a 44-tooth rearsprocket (48 original) With the new sprocket i lowered my rpms by 1000rpm. ![]() The all black makes it look like a ktm or suzuki ![]() What am I going to do next? well, I am going to buy a new Renthal handlebar in Gold/Yellow (to match my handguards) and probably new footpegs as well (in gold/yellow) here is an image of my bike how it looks today ![]() http://linuxportalen.com/?q=gallery&g2_itemId=238 http://linuxportalen.com/?q=gallery&g2_itemId=246 http://linuxportalen.com/?q=gallery&g2_itemId=242

ok, now I have 3500km on it and things are beginning to happen...
first my turnsignals failed then there is something with the ignitionkeyhole and the bike is not smooth ("jumpy" is a good word) well, good thing I do have warranty on it so tomorrow it is going to be repaired for free ![]() but still very happy with it, did some carb adjustments a whil back and the bike goes perfectly ( except this problem)' so Qingqi aren't perfect either although my bike is the only one with this problem out of the 5 or 6 that I know is running (activ in a swedish forum) I'll update later to tell wehat the problem was.. EDIT: Well, the problem was apparently two screws that was missing from the ignitionlock (from underneath) and that made everything jumpy and it mas making all the electrical weird things. The turnsignals is probably a contact problem with the switch. So that will be fixed too. Well, guess I have to fix my other bike in the meantime.

well, sorry for not updating this thread for a while, been busy moving and my bike is dead!
The engine broke completetly, there were motoroil everywhere on the bike. It is in a repairshop at the moment, trying to find the cause. I am trying to get a refund for it, don't feel I can trust the bike as i used to. And i have ridden almost 5500 km on it. and I do like it, but If i get the company to take the bike back i will get a DRZ-400SM instead ![]() picture on the oily bike.... http://forum.soe.se/attachment.php?a...7&d=1193756420

Where is the oil coming from? I don't see any major damage to the cases to indicate it blew up? Are you sure it's not something simple like a seal??? I still love the looks of that bike. Let us know where the oil is coming from and we can probably help out. Does it still run???
