You've won the lottery with Mrs. 2LZ, and you know it! You can't have every bike you want.

Because Mrs. 2LZ is pretty, and she probably smells nice. Just keep that in mind.

Good news! Updated website!
Ok....if this is posted somewhere else, I'm slow on the uptake....
http://www.qlinkmotor.com/products/products.php?pid=110

Not a lot of details uploaded yet. Still building it, I guess. DS isn't even listed yet but there's a spot for it.

I'm not to concerned about warranty, but I do all my own work too and usually break it myself. Maybe it's just me....but it's a dirtbike. My Husky had a sticker right on it that said, "Made for Competition Only. No warranty".
I know that the Q isn't for 'competition only'....but it is a dirt bike.
I thought that 2 years was pretty amazing. 8O

I haven't looked but what is the DR 200 warranty nowadays?

That's ridiculous for a CB. They have yet to get the market to trust them or gain any real market share here in North America.
Most likely. my guess would be that it will be like the Q XP and XF 200's. List price for way higher but you can buy it for far less once they start to gather in warehouses.

$3900 plus dealer fees gets it too close to Japanese prices. I'm back in Western North Carolina and rode my 2005 XT225 Yamaha yesterday and it is a much superior bike compared to my Qlink XF200. The Q was a great buy at $1395 delivered but I'll admit it, that's the only reason why I bought it.

To me CBs can't cost more than $2k new delivered.

I agree completely. Once the price even approaches $2,000, you are far better off looking for a good deal on a used, Japanese motorcycle. Dealers are crazy if they think they are going to sell many of those bikes at $3,900, plus dealer fees! 8O

This could actually be very good news for we CB consumers.
At that price....my guess would be that in 2 years....there's a darn good possibility that there will be warehouses full of 2 year old bikes going for huge discounts!....just like all the 09 Q's we all just bought brand new at huge discounts off of 'suggested retail".
They're just going to need new coolant hoses from sitting!

You have to take into account that some of the bikes will be sold at dealers offering financing. How do you think the Yamaha TW200 sells for $4400, the XT250 for $5k, or the WR250x and r sell for $6500 and $6600? Some people buy them used for much less, some have the $5k + to purchase, and others finance.

The XF200 was sold to some for at or near list price when they first came out due to financing, and Qlink is banking (some pun intended) on that bike's reputation to sell the higher feature Shinerays for at or near list price to some intial buyers.

Yes, and QLink didn't sell many of the XF/XP 200 motorcycles at full retail, or they wouldn't have had such an overstock. I repeat, once the price even approaches $2,000, one is far better off looking for a good deal on a used, Japanese motorcycle. Dealers are crazy if they think they are going to sell many of those bikes at $3,900, plus dealer fees! 8O

I am looking into a Q XP200.If I can't get one, all in for under $1500,I'll buy the brand new 0 miles DR200 show room model for $3200 at my local Suzuki dealer. It's been there since they released them in 08 and no one has even made an honest offer on the bike.Granted, few around here are into the smaller dual sports and the Yamaha TT beats it out in overall bang for the buck.I just love Suzuki. They have been the most reliable bikes for me besides my trusty old Honda dirt bikes and atvs.
