If you want to safely ride the interstate highways, you need at least a 400cc engine, Fish.

Besides the DRZ400S, start looking for deals on Honda XR650Ls. After stripping 21 pounds from my XR650L, it only weighs 8 pounds more than a stock, DRZ400S.

You can drop 9 pounds from the bike just by performing my Shorai battery relocation.

The DRZ400S is a very nice bike, but I would much rather have my lightened, air cooled, 650cc, Honda XR650L.
