My new seat and tail on the GS

Was running this:



With a little plywood, foam, and vinyl I get this:







Newest additions to my 1981 GS750E. Just sharing.

Looks like a Katana or a GSXR engine (SACS) in a GS frame?

I'd really like a first generation GSXR750 or 1100. :P

Good eye! 1993 Katana 750 engine. It was my easiest route to 115whp...I really wanted to be in about the same area as my TL1000S was but I'll have to deal with about 10whp shy of that...and a lot less torque. But damn is she fast (enough).

The frame is a 1981 GS750E. Obviously, nothing stock any more.

I made a few more touches today...little detail things. I'll post updated pictures tomorrow.
