I'm guessing you mean 70 and not 700 cc 8O . I wonder why they dropped the 110, that was a sweet running little engine...

Actually I was on their site and the mini atv now known as the "mini spider" is the only 70cc. The Mini Viper, Mini Hummer II and Rebel T1 are all 110cc. Just before Christmas I got the mini atv obviously the older version as it is 110cc. I just recently got the rebel t1 as well.
From what I can tell there is alot of new features on the little mini atv and they look like a much needed improvement. Too bad they killed the 110cc version but in my opinion a 110cc in that is more engine than a little kid can or should use with its narrow wheelbase so the 70cc engine is a good fit for the chasis.

A 110cc in my opinion is not always enough. I have one here that does not have the power to get up small hills. If it was a semi-auto it may be different.

For little kids you are correct and that a 110 may be too much. Most have a limiting throttle stop.

The one I purchased was not intended for a little kid so I did a little work to it and it moves pretty good now. If given the choice now I would go with the Rebel T1 having both now. It is a fair bit longer and wider giving it more stability. The suspension looks like it would actually do what a suspension is supposed to do (given a better shock set). The build quality is better as well and I see the new 2012 mini atv has taken some of the better ideas in its build. I think the difference in price from the mini atv I bought to the rebel t1 was in the area of 150 bucks and well worth the extra monies. If the new mini is 100 bucks more than the older version I would suggest the rebel t1 instead.

Most of those little mini atv are only good on flats or grass.
