Indeed better than your average XR250L. Mine did not go as many miles as your Zong, Brother Spud.

I took a ride Wednesday, and snapped a current photograph of my Zong.
![]() ![]() This is the way my Zong looks in its current configuration. My bike is still running very well with about 42,500 miles on the odometer. ![]() Spud ![]()

As you say, Spud, that's the Zong they should have built. As far as I can tell, you have optimized every aspect of your terrific little bike.

I know it is not a close up photo, but your bike looks amazingly clean for it's age, as well. You clearly take good care of it. You develop quite a relationship with a machine after that many miles. I only put 38k on my SV so far in the last 9 years, but she is like a family member, and the memories are priceless.

![]() I believe Zongshen would have greater success selling my modified bike in the U.S.A. than the original version. However, Mister Zongshen has not returned my telephone calls. ![]() Spud ![]()

Here is a recent photograph of my Zong which was taken in April 2013. Among other modifications, my Zong now sports Tusk, D-Flex hanguards and Ken Sean folding mirrors.
