I encourage you gentlemen to take some measurements of the TMEC 125's rear wheel. I wouldn't be surprised if a generic, Chinese, dual sport, rear wheel will fit the TMEC 125.

@brockway, we've got the 17" sm rim on ours aswell, best of luck with your one! I'd say take it up and fill it with grease, should extend the lifespan a bit!
@spud, I would have measured the wheel but all I have is a badly fitting xr wheel. James has a wheel though, and I'm guessing he has a tape measure aswell.... (hint hint James ![]() |

Loving the subtle hint dapp! I do indeed have most of a wheel and a tape measure...I'm away from home until Friday but if you can wait I'll get measuring

Well over the last week project tmec has had an interesting turn of events.
It all started going wrong big time when the bloke who was meant to be selling us the majority of the parts started messing us about with prices. Then we got a few silly quotes for the rear wheel. But today we've had a massive stroke of luck. Found a year old tmec 125 for sale 50miles away for £500. It has the usual surface rust, faided plastics and the fork seals are shot, but apart from that it is apparently all good. But the real cherry on the cake is the list of spares that is included in the sale: Engine Forks Wheels Rear swingarm Rear shock Complete plastics Seat Fuel tank Wiring loom Front and rear brake Various other bits and bobs. We should be picking it up on Tuesday, then I will take the best bits to make what should be a fairly decent bike, then we will be left with enough spares to make another complete bike if need!

That's a hell of a find dapp!
I'm very much in the market for a rear wheel and a set of plastics (well just a side panel and rear mudguard/lights/number plate holder) if you need to move some bits on (faded will be fine, I'll sticker them up if needed ![]() Need my brother back on the road to stop him nagging for lifts! James

Will probably be able to sort you out the plastics that you need, I think we're going to keep the wheels as spares though considering their track record!
I'll let you know about the plastics when we've got it all sorted!

On the way back with the 2nd tmec now, it's even more of a bargain than we were expecting! The pile of spares that came with it is unbelievable, basically a whole bike minus the frame!
Can't wait to get back and get the spanners on it! Just need the rain to ease off a bit!

Here's the beast:
![]() Doesnt need much doing to it at all, and seeing as we've got enough parts for nearly 3 bikes now, we should be able to get a really good little bike put together! Will take more pictures when the weather improves a bit!

Cheers!
Will be selling a few parts when we work out what we will be using/keeping for spares. We're going to keep the handguards on, we've got 3 rear racks so I'm sure we can sort you out with one, I'll bring one down to you once you've got your bike sorted and we'll see if we can make it fit! Have a look on eBay for handguards, you should have standard size bars on that lexmoto so you should be able to pick up a set of universal guard for about £15.
