Welcome!

I don't know where you'd find a diagram, but perhaps we can help you. What sort of trouble are you having?

Would love to get ahold of a copy myself. Trying to get a light installed and regulated dc for the Trail Tech Vapor as well. The vapor runs fine on the fluctuating ac though but I would prefer a more steady supply for it.

jaloos, could you use a half wave rectifier to provide stable DC?

Not quite sure what you are refering to. I have already tried a regulator/rectifier from anothe Chonda atv with no success. It looks to me like it wants to have a battery in the circuit to make up voltage loss at low rpm and idle. Not sure what to do, if anyone has had any experience with this would love some help.

This might be a good start: http://www.dratv.com/12vrerepikea.html Click on the wiring diagram for a close-up.

Yeah I tried something similar. Stumbling block here I think is the fact that I don't want to use a battery in it.

The vapor is fine they are very very voltage friendly 6 to 400 (or something like that) volts ac or dc, so its more of an issue over trying to maintain 12 volts for the lights we want to add.

What about a capacitor instead of a battery? If a battery is required, have you thought about a small gel cell? That's what I'm using in my TW.

I would look for a small battery. The battery can be tucked under the seat.

And gel cells can even be upside down. They don't leak unless they're cracked.

Yeah thinking about it, doesn't have to be too big for sure.

It seems this would be a good place to ask.
I'm wanting to put LED lights on our "new" little SSR 70cc. Where would I tie into? They use almost no power so it should power them, I just don't know where to tie in to?
Thanks!
