Pitster XTR250 and NX250 Honda
The NX250 Honda was sold in the USA from 1988 to 1990
Here is a link to a list of schematics and part number on Bike Bandit for the Honda NX250. http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmot...T7-013#sch2682 The XTR250 may share parts with that Honda, the engines appear to. |

I would say or see that the bike may also share the same basic frame design as the Honda.

Interesting. I assume it's new.
Price exceeds my usual CB maximum allowable price. With that said it's aircooled. There is a W/C 250 similar to that that is not recommended by some of our members, and at least one who rode it. Might be a good deal for closer to, or below $2,000. $2,700 is pretty high, IMHO. The fact that's it's a local presumably brck and mortar shop means something though. I could see maybe $2,300-$2,400. $2,700 not so much.

The way they are advertising it, seems like might not be road legal. But its a 4 stroke, and got a headlight/ taillight.
It might be worth my time to ride up there to see it in person and ask if it can be titled and see if it has an EPA / NHSTA labels on it. Maybe will do that in the next couple weeks. |

It looks like a dualsport. I would think it's road legal.
Its October. The weather in Jersey is going to take a major dumparoo soon. If I was a motorcycle dealer I'd be interested in moving my stock out the door.... Just sayin'.

Yup, been a while since Oengus has posted hasn't it?
Regarding the XTR250, I don't really know much about it. I do know however, that Pitster Pro Canada didn't bring them in even though they were supposed to. I was told it was due to "reliability issues". Not sure what issues they were talking about but I was told they were sticking with the tried and true XTR200 (same as Q-Link XP/XF bikes) |
