New UK Skyteam V-Raptor 250 - Driving Lights
I have bought the following bits and pieces from eBay. The lights are Cree 10w LED in each lamp. The fork fittings and lighting switch and the lights all came in under £25 / $36 delivered. One was UK, the other two are Hng Kong so delivery at the end of the month at the earliest.
Light Switch was under £5 Fork Fitting kit was under £5 The lamps themselves were £15 So, fitting photos will be done as soon as they are in my grubby hands . . . Jeff

That switch is common to dirt bikes as a kill switch. I'm not sure what level of current they're exposed to with the CDI, but I might be tempted to use a relay in a 20W circuit. Overkill, I know.

The switch I purchased was for Hazard Warning light switch and is rated at 10 amps -
These lights are 10 watts each making 20 watts total draw, A = W/V, therefore A = 20 / 12 A = 1.67 Amps The switch should be more than meaty enough to cope with the current. I was going to take a feed from the headlight which is drawing just over 3 amps, total current will be under 5 amps in all, so I think everything should be fine. I will double check what fuse is in the circuit for the headlight before turning anything on. Alternatively, the headlight flasher circuit is driven by a relay so I will see whats (ha, no pun intended) available there as well. Thanks for the heads-up. Jeff
