TT

Is the TT intended to go head to head with the SSR XF-250 . . . . or are we basically talking about the same bike just different branding?

No, I don't think the CSC TT Special is intended to compete with the SSR bikes. However, the TT Special has a few features which set it apart from the similar bikes.

Counterbalanced Engine
USD Forks
Disc Brakes on both Wheels
Zongshen Manufactured

CSC Parts and Warranty Support

Keep in mind, while many bikes in China are near identical, the SSR bikes, manufactured by Qingqi, have a near-clone of a Suzuki engine as Qingqi manufactures some of Suzuki's sub-250cc engines as an OEM.

My guess is the Zongshen will use one of its stout, Honda-ish engines, which is not a bad thing at all! My TMEC 200 uses a Zongshen manufactured 197cc engine (167 FML engine family) , and I have well over 10,000 miles in the past 18 months of ownership with nothing but oil changes every 600 miles or once a month.

I do hope that CSC take their RX3 bike into account and do not try to price the TT near that level of pricing to compete with SSR and their XF250's.
