Yep, we are slowly expanding. Please don't call us for parts though, haha. Sometimes we have five phones ringing at once for different stuff. Our job here is to supply dealers, so we would prefer you call them and get them to order through their existing connection (assuming u have a local dealer, which most of you don't). You'll almost certainly get a better price that way. If you really have to call, please don't haggle over the price. We had some guy doing that and it became obnoxious. Ideally, if you really need to contact us about a part, send us an email.

Also, our facebook: https://www.facebook.com/therps.net/

Thumbs Up hawks

ADAM!!! soooooo glad to see you posting here gotta tell you, you have hit a nail very strongly with the Hawk. My brother absolutely loves his, and he's been riding almost sixty years, and i mean Riding!; and, btw, I am told your guys just shipped out my "fast" green one today

now, that being said, i posted about your parts site so everyone could look up the numbers of anything they might need, and access the wealth of useful information you have on your site. Not to encourage them to try and circumvent their dealers and besiege your offices lol.(much easier to tell their dealer what exactly they want or need if they have the part number)

on the other hand, i gotta ask: is their any chance you guys might b thinking of bringing in some "optional" parts: for example a rear rack, those neat chinese aux driving lights, a tachometer, engine bash plate, selection of countershaft sprockets, chains, maybe a new line of chinese tires and tubes etc.?

I ask, cause i for one, would like to see RPS build on your established beachhead and become an even stronger player in the american motorcycle, and indeed the whole power sports scene. You certainly have established your "bang for buck" credentials...

hawks

Adam,

Please keep us posted on any updates concerning DOT/NHTSA progress. I still want to carry this line in my store but I need it to be Connecticut compliant.

Thank you.

Yes, in the office this has been talked about several times, we have someone in Oklahoma who is hoping we let them manufacture upgrade kits. Probably the first bike that we start releasing accessories for will be the Taurus 2x2 Soviet recon bike, currently scheduled tentatively for Fall 2016.

Honestly, I do not know. It is compliant in several states, but do not know about Connecticut. Is there any way to contact a DOT office and check somehow? I did speak with China about this and sent them a lot of paperwork, they certainly want to resolve it.

Honestly, if you want improvements to the Hawk, the best thing you could do is help us find dealers. Who can fix a bike and has a shop? We have a number of different bikes and ATVs. The more we can push these products into the market, the more money China will invest.

This is a good starting point for people from Connecticut.

Adam, I downloaded your Dealer Application.

WOOW! Talk about a company that has NO! skin in the game.

Now I understand your Quote, clear as a sunny day.

When I purchased my Hawk for $1300 I was pretty sure the distrubutor, not to be confused with dealer, had no skin in the game.

Even a company as highly regarded as CSC doesn't have dealers. If you are looking for any type of support, CSC or SSR come to mind, but those bikes sell for 2-3 thousand $.

Having skin in the game is expensive, and you will likely have to pay dearly for it. For the price, the Hawk is a great deal IMO if it fits your needs.

wilserchinarider , I don't need any support, but most people do.

I have 2 vipers and 2 1/2 hawks. The neighbor kid loves the viper.

My job is selling to small engine repair shops, powersports shops, if they repair or sell engines, I am pounding on the door trying to make a sale.

You understand, very expensive. So when you read a app like from RPS and others from China, it just makes you laugh.

Like one shop owner said " Why would I sell or repair any powersports equipment from China. So a customer can walk in and say to me, I can get it cheaper on the Internet"

If they want dealers, then put skin in the game China like India is now doing.
