Rats. Leap year

I know the orbit of the Earth does not care how many days we have on the calender in February but it seems to me like an extra day of winter. Leap year should be in July. Darn Southern Hemisphere dwellers must have rigged this against the rest of us.

I'm in full spring fever mode. It appears, and I am praying, we have again essentially skipped winter this year. I'm just afraid to get my hopes up and then have the white $#%& happen...

I agree completely, Doc. Unfortunately, we're looking at another couple of inches here in PA. To add insult to injury, the next nice day is Sunday and I have a meeting and then a full days work, so no chance for riding then either.

Spring is close though, I just have to keep telling myself that!

You should join me and the snowbirds down here in Yuma. It has been in the 80's in the afternoons, but feels like it's been in the 40's in the morning (during my scooter commute, of course!). Lots and lots of work for a doctor! But it is Yuma...

I think about the snowbird thing often, but I supect when I retire I'll just move Home back to California.

That will likely wait until after I retire as my current job is way too good to walk away from.

I've been to Yuma.... Uninhabitable in the summer!

One more day to attain the unrealistic financial projections put forth by the geniuses I work for.

Same here, Spud. I feel that for the most part we may have skipped another winter, God willing.

Roger and I are looking at dates to propose to you for Spudtour 2016 if you are still willing to have us out again :-)

How early do you think the trails will be open?

The National Forest trails don't open until the middle of May, Doc. I look forward to riding with you and Brother Roger once again, this year.

Thanks Spud!

Will call and give you a list of potential dates for your consideration soon. We are in the process of getting Roger over a medical issue but will be fine :-)

I look forward to hearing from you, Brother Bill. If I can't answer, leave a message with a good time to call you back.

I know you guys don't want to hear this but down here in south east Florida winter completely passed us by this year. I don't think there was a single cold night a pair of socks wouldn't take care of.
