Facebook China Bikes.............

Hey all, Since their was no FB group on China Bikes i started one. It will NEVER replace what this place is but might be nice for live chats and getting local ride chapters started. Feel free to join!

Is it possible to unlock the page so everyone can view but not post? I am not a FaceBook user but I have been to many FaceBook webpages where I was able to look around. Another benefit of having a FaceBook page is in case of a server failure or what have you of the ChinaRiders.net website people can go over to the FaceBook page for status updates and to find out whats going on. I found this to be very useful recently on another forum that crashed over an entire weekend. You would think the world was ending all the trouble that server crash caused.

It has been unlocked from the get go. While it used to work in the past, it seems that now there's no way to show a profile to other people who are not a members of the site. I definitely do not like this......

Figured it out. It is a GROUP thus you have to be logged in and anyone can post. The public ones are PAGES where only the owner can post to the main area. I have a PAGE for my business you should be able to see...... https://www.facebook.com/M-R-Home-Se...posts_to_page/

FYI, I used Facebook to keep up with Family spread from Illinois, to the Carolinas, To Florida and a nephew in the Army in Korea as well as dozens of friends throughout the country and actually the world. I also use it for news as i don't watch TV. It's not a bad tool in this day and age.
