reminds me of a case in italy while i was there. at this certain border crossing every week the same guy would ride up and cross into switzerland on his packed-to-the-gills bicycle, and every week the crossing guard would search it thoroughly for contraband, and find nothing. this went on for some years then eventually they both grew old and at the crossing guard's retirement party he finally begged the old guy to confess to "what were you smuggling all those years? the old italian smiled, raised his glass of chianti , and replied----
