I was apprehensive before buying my hawk. it's turned out to be a really good deal. you have to go in understanding that these bikes need a little tweeking to get them adjusted properly. you might run into a few minor glitches as you put them together, but it varies by bike. I had to bend a few brackets to get everything to line up as I went. Nothing major though.

Plan to buy a carb and jets. you'll spend about 50 bucks total for that. also you may want to change out sprockets depending on what kind of riding you plan to do with it.

Most everyone I have read posts from on here have either been totally pleased, or expressed a little frustration until they got it dialed in. There's a good variety of experiences on the forum, so we can talk you through most anything you run into.

They won't come with a title. The titling will be up to you. It will however come with a MCO and bill of sale which is what you will need to get it titled with your local DMV. Depending on what state you live in you may or may not have trouble with titling. I had no issues with my DMV.

Welcome to here! It seems that the Hawk is a good deal from all the people who own them. You won't be able to title in Penn.--just be aware.

depending on where you buy it from, you need to make sure and request the MCO and BOS. I bought from Superior Powersports. they did a terrific job, but they do not send them unless requested. they said they get a lot that only use them off-road and never license them.

If you want a quick MCO DO NOT BUY from Motobuys.com, they have quite a reputation for horrible customer service. I have a thread around here with the latest vendor prices, I will link it once I figure out how to do that.

They come with a blank title, we are now prioritizing MSO shipping so that a completed one arrives faster. Make sure when you order you ask the vendor to immediately start the process, but we are no longer waiting for them to request one and will send them automatically.

If you want the greatest reassurance, Adam is the representative for Ricky PowerSports, the actual source of the Hawk in the US! We only get that type of customer service from one other brand of motorcycle, California Scooter Company (CSC), where the representatives are members, and respond to people here on these threads on Chinariders.

As far as fast, efficient paperwork, this mail-order firm seems to be top-notch http://www.apscusa.com/ and Adam has a link to one called Q9 powersports on his post which I am sure would do you right, as well.
