motorcycle stands/lift

well after drooling over 2lz birthday gift I was wondering what everyone is using that works good. im still using the old milkcrate with a 2x6 on top and was wanting something better and needed some ideas. I have a couple of welders, plasma cutter, chop saw and plenty of steel but want some good ideas. (pics are always good) or even reasonably priced store ones.

I love the lift for sure....but to get the wheelss off the ground, I have a Craftsman motorcycle lift. It's about 12 years old, has lefted mostly Harley's and Victory weighted bikes and is still doing just fine.

That said, all of the Harbor Freight stuff has come a LONG way in the last decade and is less expensive.

There are dozens of sites on the net with plans to build a lift table ,or bike lift ,of various styles .Depending on your bikes ,budget ,what space you have ,and what work you will be performing on them you can probably find yourself something better than working on the floor .

Thumbs Up

That's quite a saw to make a continuous cut as it seems to show

On the other hand...I've never in my life seen a more sold, stable bike stand! A couple lag bolts and a pair of tie-downs and it's earthquake proof!
